MUSIC

First Baptist Jacksboro understands the Biblical commands to worship and proclaim our Christian faith through music. We offer persons of all ages opportunities to sing their faith and to learn how better to praise their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

No auditions are required to be a part of any worship or music ensemble team at First Baptist. The only REAL requirement is that you love the Lord and desire to praise Him through your efforts. An invitation is extended to veryone who wishes to be a part of any of the worship organizations to come join us. Our desire is to do as the Psalmist states in Psalm 95:1: "Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song."

WORSHIP
Worshippers gather every Sunday morning to lift our congregational voice in praise to God. During our early service as well as the 11:15 am service, we incorporate a variety of congregational hymns, choruses, choral material, special solo music, and ensemble worship opportunities. The musical content of this service flows from the heritage of our faith with messages relevant to our daily walk, and our desire to point people's hearts toward God.

SANCTUARY CHOIR
The Sanctuary Choir meets on Wednesday nights for rehearsal in Room 100. You are welcome and invited to come on Wednesday evening. We rehearse from 7:05p.m. - 8:45 p.m. Each rehearsal contains elements of anthem learning, spiritual renewal, and great fellowship. Events are planned to enhance a spirit of joy and celebration in the Lord. A wide variety of music is rehearsed from contemporary pieces to some of the great choral classics.

FBCJ RINGERS
The Ringers is the handbell ensemble of First Baptist Jacksboro. Here we concentrate on presenting worshipful exciting arrangements of pieces ranging from hymn classics to modern contemporaries.

MEDIA TEAM
Our Media Team consists of those individuals who help to make services run as smooth as possible. These areas include our delayed broadcast at 1:30 p.m. on local channel 12. This team is also responsible for running our audio sound system as well as our visual projection system.
